Beginner 2 hours $5
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare your workspace and plug in the hot glue gun to warm up.
2. Lay out toothpicks side by side to form the base of the boat. Use hot glue to join them together securely.
3. Cut wooden knives to create the sides of the boat. Attach these vertically along the edges of the toothpick base using hot glue.
4. Use wooden skewers to create the mast: cut one skewer to desired height and glue vertically in the center of the boat base.
5. Fashion sails by cutting small triangles from a piece of paper or thin cardboard and glue them to the mast with small pieces of toothpick or skewers as support beams.
6. Reinforce all joins with additional hot glue to ensure stability.
7. Optionally, sand any rough edges and paint your miniature boat to add color and character.
8. Allow the glue and paint to dry completely before handling or gifting.
