Rustic Pallet Garden Planter

Create a charming and eco-friendly garden planter using a wooden pallet. This project transforms a simple pallet into a vertical planter perfect for small spaces or patios.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Choose a pallet in good condition and clean it thoroughly.
2. Sand all surfaces of the pallet to smooth rough edges and splinters.
3. Apply exterior wood paint or stain to protect the pallet from weather; let dry completely.
4. Cut plastic liner or landscape fabric to fit inside the pallet compartments.
5. Staple the liner securely to the back and sides of the pallet to hold soil.
6. Fill each compartment with potting soil.
7. Plant your chosen plants or herbs in the soil pockets.
8. Optionally, reinforce weak areas of the pallet with screws.
9. Position the pallet vertically against a wall or fence, or mount it securely.
10. Water the plants and enjoy your vertical garden.
