Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Clean the wooden pallet thoroughly and let it dry.
2. Sand the pallet to smooth rough edges and splinters.
3. Optional: Apply exterior wood paint or stain to protect the wood and let it dry completely.
4. Line the back and bottom of each pallet section with plastic liner or landscape fabric, securing it with a staple gun to hold soil.
5. Fill each section with potting soil.
6. Plant herb seedlings or sow seeds in the soil-filled compartments.
7. Water gently to settle the soil around the plants.
8. If you want to hang the pallet garden, attach screws and wall anchors appropriate for your wall type.
9. Mount the pallet securely on a wall or lean it against a fence or balcony railing.
10. Water regularly and ensure the herbs get adequate sunlight.
