Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Measure and plan your rack size based on available wall space and number of bottles and cups.
2. Sand all wood pieces starting with 120 grit then finish with 220 grit for a smooth, natural finish.
3. Attach the 1"x4" support boards vertically on the wall using wall anchors or into studs, spaced to fit the 1"x8" shelves.
4. Secure each shelf horizontally on the supports with wood glue and screws, making sure they are level.
5. Screw small cup hooks underneath the shelves in a row, spaced evenly to hang wine cups by their stems.
6. Wrap or weave the LED string lights around the shelves and supports, securing with small nails or using the adhesive backing.
7. Test the lights and make any adjustments to placement.
8. Clean the rack with a dry cloth and mount bottles and wine cups to complete the rustic look.
