Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Cut the pine board to your desired shelf length (24 inches recommended).
2. Sand all surfaces and edges with 120 grit sandpaper, then finish with 220 grit for smoothness.
3. Apply wood stain or paint evenly if desired; allow to dry completely.
4. Apply a coat of polyurethane finish for durability; let it dry.
5. Mark and drill pilot holes on the back edge for mounting screws.
6. Attach wood screws partially into the pilot holes, leaving enough thread to grip the wall anchors.
7. Locate and install wall anchors where you want to mount the shelf.
8. Hang the shelf by aligning screws with wall anchors and tightening securely.
9. Optionally, add decorative items to style your shelf for photos if selling on Etsy.
