Upcycled T-Shirt Tote Bag

Transform an old, worn-out t-shirt into a reusable tote bag perfect for groceries or daily use. This project requires no sewing, making it an easy and sustainable way to reduce plastic bag use.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Lay the t-shirt flat on a clean surface and smooth out wrinkles.
2. Cut off the sleeves along the seams to create armholes.
3. Cut around the neckline to create a larger opening for the bag.
4. Flip the shirt inside out.
5. Starting at the bottom hem, cut fringe strips about 1 inch wide and 4 inches long all along the bottom edge.
6. Tie each pair of fringe strips (front and back) tightly together to close the bottom of the bag.
7. When all fringe strips are tied, flip the shirt right side out.
8. Your tote bag is ready to use!
