Upcycled T-Shirt Tote Bag

Transform old t-shirts into reusable tote bags without any sewing. This project helps reduce fabric waste and creates a practical bag for shopping or everyday use using simple cutting and tying techniques.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Lay the t-shirt flat on a clean surface with the front facing up.
2. Cut off the sleeves along the seams on both sides.
3. Cut off the neckline to create a larger opening.
4. Flip the t-shirt inside out.
5. At the bottom hem, cut vertical strips about 1 inch wide and 3-4 inches long all across the bottom edge.
6. Tie the front and back strips together in knots to close the bottom of the tote.
7. Flip the bag right side out.
8. Optional: Trim any uneven edges or strands for a neater look.
9. Your upcycled tote bag is ready to use!
