Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare your workspace with all tools and materials laid out.
2. Using the wire cutters, cut lengths of wire to form the edges of your chosen geometric shapes (e.g., cubes, pyramids, or prisms). Approximate edge lengths can be 6-8 inches each.
3. Use round-nose pliers to create loops at wire ends to connect pieces safely without sharp edges.
4. Assemble the wire pieces by connecting loops or twisting wire ends together to form stable geometric frames.
5. Once all edges are connected, ensure the frame is stable and adjust as necessary with pliers.
6. If desired, decorate the frames using spray paint or metallic markers and allow to dry completely.
7. Carefully wrap the LED string lights around the frame, using small metal rings or clear tape to secure the lights in place without damaging the wire frame.
8. Hide the battery pack within the frame or hang it discreetly to maintain the aesthetic.
9. Test the LED lights to ensure they work properly.
10. Repeat to create multiple lanterns for your party setup.
11. Hang the lanterns using additional wire hooks or place them on tables for ambient lighting.
