Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Draw several geometric shapes (triangles, squares, hexagons) on the plywood using a pencil and ruler. Keep shapes between 2 to 4 inches in size for an appealing composition.
2. Carefully cut out the shapes using a craft saw or handsaw. Take your time to ensure clean edges.
3. Sand the edges and surfaces of the wooden shapes smoothly with medium then fine grit sandpaper.
4. (Optional) Paint or stain each shape in your desired colors. Let them dry completely.
5. Arrange the wooden shapes on a flat surface to create an appealing geometric pattern. Experiment with layout before gluing.
6. Glue the shapes together where they touch to form a single art piece. Allow the glue to dry fully.
7. Attach picture hanging hardware to the back or use strong double-sided mounting tape to display your art on the wall.
