Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Tape down your watercolor paper onto a flat surface to prevent warping.
2. Lightly sketch a rough outline of your galaxy shape or leave it freeform.
3. Wet the paper slightly with clean water where you want to paint the galaxy.
4. Start applying light washes of blue and purple paints, allowing them to blend naturally.
5. Gradually add darker shades and some black paint around the edges to create depth.
6. While the paint is still wet, drop small amounts of water to create star-like textures.
7. Let the painting dry completely.
8. Use a white gel pen or fine brush with white acrylic paint to add stars, dots, and small clusters for a sparkling effect.
9. Erase any visible pencil lines carefully once the paint is dry.
10. Remove the masking tape gently and display your galaxy artwork.
