Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Inspect the wooden pallet for any loose nails or splinters and remove or fix them.
2. Sand the pallet surfaces thoroughly to smooth rough edges and prepare for painting or sealing.
3. Apply a coat of outdoor wood paint or wood sealant to protect the pallet from weather damage. Let it dry completely.
4. Decide how many pots or containers you want to attach to the pallet. Arrange them evenly across the pallet slats.
5. Secure the pots/containers to the pallet using a staple gun, nails, or wire, ensuring they are stable and won’t fall.
6. Fill each pot with potting soil.
7. Plant your herb seedlings or sow seeds in the soil according to the specific herb’s planting instructions.
8. Place the pallet in a sunny spot outdoors; if desired, use a drill and screws to mount it vertically on a wall or fence.
9. Water herbs regularly and monitor their growth, trimming as needed for healthy plants.
