Upcycled T-Shirt Tote Bag

Transform an old t-shirt into a reusable tote bag without sewing. This sustainable project helps reduce waste and creates a practical bag for shopping or everyday use. It's simple, quick, and requires only basic materials.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Lay the t-shirt flat on your workspace with the front facing down.
2. Cut off the sleeves along the seam to create handles.
3. Cut off the neckline to create a larger opening for the bag.
4. Decide on the desired length of your bag and cut off the bottom hem if needed.
5. Starting from the bottom edge, cut vertical strips about 1 inch wide and 4-6 inches long.
6. Tie the front and back strips together in knots to close the bottom of the bag securely.
7. Repeat until all strips are tied and the bag bottom is closed.
8. Turn the bag right side out, and it’s ready to use.

Old t-shirt (preferably 100% cotton)
Scissors
Ruler or measuring tape
