Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Select and prepare your live edge wood slabs by cutting them to the desired length and width using a circular saw.
2. Sand the slabs to remove rough edges and imperfections, starting with coarse grit sandpaper and progressing to finer grits.
3. If needed, fill any cracks or voids with epoxy resin, mixing according to manufacturer instructions and allowing it to cure completely.
4. Once the epoxy is cured, sand the surface again to ensure a smooth finish.
5. Apply a wood sealer to the slabs to protect the wood and enhance its natural beauty.
6. Assemble the table by joining the wood slabs using wood glue and clamps, ensuring they are level and aligned properly.
7. Attach the table legs securely to the underside of the table using a drill and screws, ensuring stability.
8. Finish the table with your chosen wood finish, applying it evenly with a brush or roller, and allowing it to dry according to instructions.
9. Once the finish is dry, give the table a final inspection and touch up any areas as needed.
