Instructions

1. Measure and cut the 2x4 lumber pieces according to the specified lengths for the tabletop, legs, and support beams. 2. Assemble the tabletop by laying the 4-foot pieces side by side and securing them with wood glue and screws. Ensure they are tightly fastened. 3. Sand the edges and surfaces of the tabletop using 80-grit sandpaper, progressively moving to 120 and then 220 grit for a smooth finish. 4. Cut the leg pieces and attach them to the corners of the tabletop using screws, ensuring they are perpendicular to the tabletop. 5. Attach the support beams between the legs for added stability, measuring to ensure they are even. 6. Sand the entire table again to remove any rough edges or splinters. 7. If desired, apply wood stain or paint to the table and allow it to dry completely. 8. Finish with a coat of polyurethane for protection and durability. 9. Allow the table to cure according to the finish manufacturer's instructions before use.
