Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare your workspace by covering it with a plastic table cover or garbage bags to protect surfaces.
2. Lay the white t-shirt flat and decide on the tie-dye pattern you want (spiral, bullseye, stripes, etc.).
3. Pinch the center of the shirt and twist it into a spiral or fold it according to your chosen design.
4. Secure the twisted or folded shirt tightly with rubber bands to hold the shape.
5. Put on plastic gloves to protect your hands from staining.
6. Prepare your dyes according to the instructions on the tie-dye kit.
7. Apply the dye to different sections of the shirt, using squeeze bottles to control placement and color mixing.
8. Once all dye is applied, place the shirt in a plastic bag and let it sit for 6-8 hours or as recommended to set the dye.
9. After the waiting period, rinse the shirt under cold water while removing the rubber bands until the water runs clear.
10. Wash the shirt separately in cold water and dry it.
11. Your custom tie-dye t-shirt is ready to wear!
