1. Measure your workspace and confirm desktop size to comfortably fit your monitor and laptop (recommend at least 48" x 24").
2. Purchase or assemble an adjustable height desk frame or electric desk lift mechanism that supports the size and weight of your desktop.
3. Cut the plywood or wood board to your desired desktop size if not pre-cut.
4. Sand all edges and surfaces smoothly.
5. Optionally, apply wood stain or paint and let it dry completely.
6. Attach the desktop securely to the adjustable frame using screws and mounting brackets, ensuring stability.
7. Mount the power strip underneath the desktop in an accessible location, using screws or adhesive mounts.
8. Use cable clips or a cable management box to neatly route power cables and USB cords to keep the workspace tidy.
